Easier signup across browser profiles

Keep your personal and work Google accounts in separate browser profiles? You no longer have to sign one into the other. After connecting your first calendar, copy a one-time link (or scan a QR code) and finish the remaining step in your other profile — the original tab picks up automatically when you're done. Links are single-use and expire after 30 minutes.

Start signup with either account: the setup page now lets you connect your work calendar first and add your personal calendar after.
ProReverse sync setup supports the same cross-profile link when granting write access to your personal calendar.

Fixed

Fixed sign-in getting stuck in a redirect or reload loop. If your browser held a session for an account that no longer exists, the dashboard could bounce you between pages or reload endlessly — stale sessions are now cleared automatically and the dashboard page is no longer cached by the browser.
The “Back to home” link on the setup page now signs you out and returns you to the home page. Previously, if your calendars weren't fully connected yet, it bounced you straight back to setup with no way out.

Fixed events that could be silently skipped if they were created or last edited well before they occur. A meeting you set up far in advance (for example a recurring 1:1 or a trip booked months ahead) might never get a busy block on your work calendar, even once its date moved inside your Sync Range. SyncBusy now sweeps the leading edge of your Sync Range each day and picks up any such events — with no extra cost on routine syncs.
ProSame fix for reverse sync: accepted work meetings edited well before they occur (commonly recurring 1:1s) could be left off your personal SyncBusy calendar. They're now mirrored as soon as they fall within range. Already-missed events are recovered automatically on the next sync — no reconnect needed.
Fixed a stale entry left behind when you reschedule a meeting out of your Sync Range. Moving an event to a date beyond your range now removes its synced busy block instead of leaving a phantom block at the old date.
ProReverse sync: rescheduling a work meeting out of your sync range now removes its mirrored entry from your personal SyncBusy calendar, instead of leaving it stuck at the original time.
Fixed a stale busy block left behind when you decline a personal meeting or mark it as Free. Previously the block stayed on your work calendar even though the event no longer qualified — SyncBusy now removes it as soon as you decline the meeting or set it to Free.
ProReverse sync: moving a mirrored work meeting onto a day excluded by your Sync Days filter now removes its entry from your personal SyncBusy calendar, instead of leaving a stale mirror on the old day.

Fixed

ProReverse sync now surfaces errors on the dashboard. Previously, if SyncBusy couldn't write to your personal calendar — for example because your account is missing the required permissions — reverse sync silently skipped each event and the dashboard kept showing “Active”. You'll now see a clear message under Reverse Sync telling you what's wrong and how to fix it. The error stays visible across syncs that don't actually write anything (an empty sync proves nothing about whether the underlying problem is fixed) and only clears once a write to your personal calendar succeeds.
ProReverse sync now respects your Sync Range setting on every sync. Recurring work meetings used to expand into instances years into the future, which could fill your personal SyncBusy calendar with events well past the range you configured. SyncBusy now mirrors only events that fall within your selected Sync Range (default 14 days ahead), regardless of how far Google chose to expand a recurring meeting.
ProAdded a “Reconnect Personal Calendar” button under Reverse Sync. When SyncBusy detects that your personal calendar connection is missing the write permission needed for reverse sync, the dashboard now shows the button right next to the warning — one click takes you back through Google sign-in to grant the missing scope, and then back to the dashboard.
ProAdded a “Clean Up Orphans” button under Reverse Sync. Removes events from your personal SyncBusy calendar whose source work event no longer exists or no longer qualifies for mirroring. Only events SyncBusy created (carrying our internal marker) are touched — anything you added to the calendar yourself stays put. Useful right after reconnecting your personal calendar to wipe leftovers from any prior period when reverse sync wasn't healthy.
ProReconnecting your personal calendar now clears the “Reverse sync is paused” warning immediately. Previously the warning would linger on the dashboard until the next sync ran and confirmed write access — sometimes minutes later. The successful reconnect is now itself sufficient proof.
Failed Google reconnects no longer disappear silently. If you come back from Google's consent screen without granting a required calendar permission, the dashboard now surfaces a clear toast telling you what scope was missing and to try again with all permissions checked — the warning previously stayed put with no explanation.

ProReverse sync for iCloud users

Mirror your accepted work events to a calendar on your iCloud account — same as the existing Google reverse sync. Pick any iCloud calendar to receive the mirrors (it must be different from the calendars you sync FROM), and SyncBusy will keep it in sync as work events change or get cancelled.

Manage your iCloud calendar selection from the dashboard — add or remove calendars without re-entering your app-specific password. Removed-calendar busy blocks within your sync window are cleaned up automatically.
New "Delete Synced Events" button in Sync Controls — appears when sync is paused. Wipes all busy blocks SyncBusy created on your work calendar in one click.

Fixed

iCloud sync now works for accounts on every Apple regional shard. Some users connected an iCloud calendar successfully but never saw any busy blocks created — every sync attempt failed silently because Apple routes accounts across multiple CalDAV hosts and we were only talking to the default one. The connection client now follows your account to its actual shard.

ProScheduled pause (vacation) now actually clears your work calendar during the window. Previously, scheduling a vacation only stopped future syncs — busy blocks already mirrored for events in that period stayed on your work calendar. Now, scheduling a window immediately removes existing busy blocks whose events overlap the window, and any new or moved events overlapping it are filtered out.

Improved

Refreshed the homepage with details on iCloud support, sync days, reverse sync, and a new FAQ. The hero now includes an interactive demo showing exactly what coworkers see (just "Busy") versus what you see on your own work calendar (the label you choose).

iCloud Calendar support
You can now connect Apple iCloud Calendar as your personal calendar source. Busy blocks sync to your work Google Calendar automatically — no Apple developer account required, just a free app-specific password.

New personal calendar chooser on the setup and dashboard screens: pick Google Calendar or iCloud Calendar when connecting.
iCloud users are polled every 5 min (Pro) or 15 min (Free) for new and changed events.
All existing Pro features — custom naming, sync range, sync-day filter, pause windows — work with iCloud calendars.
When your iCloud app-specific password expires or is revoked, a dashboard banner guides you through reconnecting without losing any busy blocks.
