Terms of Service

By using SyncBusy ("the service"), you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service.

What the service does

SyncBusy reads events from your personal Google Calendar and creates corresponding "busy block" events on your work Google Calendar. The service operates automatically once you connect both calendars.

Your account

• You must have valid Google accounts for both your personal and work calendars.
• You are responsible for keeping your account secure. Don't share your session.
• You may disconnect and delete your account at any time.

What we promise

• We will only access the calendar data necessary to provide the sync service.
• We will not sell, rent, or share your data with third parties.
• We will encrypt your OAuth tokens at rest.
• We will delete your data when you disconnect your account.

What we don't promise

• Availability. The service is provided "as is" without warranty. We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service.
• Accuracy. While we strive for correct sync behavior, events may occasionally be missed, duplicated, or delayed due to API limitations or temporary outages.
• Permanence. We may modify or discontinue the service at any time. If we do, we'll make reasonable efforts to notify active users and allow data export or deletion.

Acceptable use

Don't use SyncBusy to:

• Violate any law or regulation
• Interfere with the service or other users
• Attempt to access other users' data
• Reverse-engineer the service or attempt to extract its source code

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SyncBusy and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the service. Our total liability is limited to the amount you've paid us (which is zero — the service is free).

Google API compliance

SyncBusy's use of Google APIs complies with the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. See our Privacy Policy for details on data handling.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The "last updated" date at the top of this page will change. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
